Art to Benefit East Cobb Park
From tonight through March 29, Frameworks Gallery is displaying paintings to be auctioned to aid post-tornado landscaping.
When Frameworks Gallery decided on the name "Forces of Nature" for its annual spring show, little did it know that would be dealing with its own force of nature in the form on March 3.
Featured artists Pat Fiorello, Theresa Forman and Julie Mann have agreed to donate an original painting toward a fundraising effort to purchase new landscape materials for the park. Frameworks Gallery, located on Johnson Ferry Road, will donate the custom framing of the paintings and 100 percent of the purchase price to the Friends for the East Cobb Park.
The paintings will be on display at Frameworks Gallery beginning tonight through next Thursday, March 29, the deadine for bids. A reception and silent auction will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
