Bear Spotted in East Cobb
Several bears have been spotted in the metro in recent weeks and months; one bear was found dead next to I-85 two weeks ago.

An East Cobb homeowner was able to bear the shock of discovering a bear in his backyard on Thursday and managed to take a picture of his guest.
John Brandon told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the bear strolled in the vicinity of the Blackwells neighborhood at Sandy Plains Road and Highway 92. Brandon took a picture of the bear, and later snapped a shot of a deer who had also decided to stop by.

Bears have been spotted in Norcross recently, with one even being found dead on the side of Interstate 85 earlier this month. It’s not known what’s causing the bears to hang out in the suburbs.
