Sensory Friendly Trunk or Treat

Event Details

Greater Atlanta Speech, 1515 Johnson Ferry Rd, Marietta, GA, 30062

Greater Atlanta Speech and Language Clinics will host its annual Sensory-Friendly Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 29, from 3:00–6:00 p.m. at 1515 Johnson Ferry Road, Suite 100, Marietta. The free community event is open to the public and welcomes individuals of all ages and abilities.

Traditional Halloween events can sometimes be overwhelming for individuals with sensory differences. Greater Atlanta Speech and Language Clinics created its Sensory-Friendly Trunk or Treat to provide families with an inclusive way to enjoy the excitement of Halloween in a more supportive and accommodating environment.

This year’s theme, “Around Our Town,” will transform the event into a Halloween community filled with creatively decorated trunks, treats and activities. Families are invited to move through the event at their own pace and participate in the ways that are most comfortable for them. Costumes are encouraged but never required.

Admission is free, and no affiliation with the clinic is required to attend. The event is open to the entire community.
