🌱 Cobb Celebrates 4th With Parade And Fireworks + Cobb Food Scores

First, today's weather:

Here are the top three stories today in East Cobb:
- Cobb County will be celebrating Independence Day with its signature events, a parade, and a Glover Park celebration in nearby Marietta on Monday. In addition, the Mohs family will be setting off "professional quality" fireworks around 9:00 p.m. or sunset at their home at 465 Shadowlawn Road. In Marietta, the Let Freedom Ring Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Roswell Street Baptist Church and continues east on Roswell Street to the Square. (East Cobb News)
- The Cobb Douglas Department of Public Health released its food scores for the week of Jun. 27. Eleven restaurants were given scores between A and C. Eataliano Pizza Kitchen Bar, Marietta Pizza Company, and Jadas Caribbean Cuisine all received a score of A. (East Cobb News)
- The Cobb Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs is offering free pickup spikeball activities for adults every Wednesday at Terrell Mill Park. Spikeball is a team sport played by two teams of two players where the object of the game is to hit the ball into the net so that the opposing team cannot return it. The pickup sessions are free and take place each Wednesday from 6:30-10:00 p.m. at the turf field, located at 480 Terrell Mill Road. (Cobb County)
