Tropical Storm Fred is making landfall in Florida and is headed this way. The biggest danger is flash flooding from up to six inches of rain in Cobb County.

WATCH what @CobbDOT does BEFORE the storm to try to avoid flooding. Crews were out today clearing drains and they’ve staggered shifts to make sure crews are available 24/7 to handle reports of downed trees, flooded roads, or other hazards.
Be safe, do NOT drive into water-covered roadways.
