Cobb County Schools Hosting College Credit Seminar Next Week
Speakers from several colleges and universities will be on hand to explain how students can earn college credits while still in high school.

Parents of Cobb County college-bound students are invited to attend Cobb County Schools’ “College Credit Now Summit,” which will explain how high school students can earn credits for college classes before ever setting foot on campus and ways they can earn a fully-paid tuition.
The event, which will be held on Thursday, Oct. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at North Cobb High School in Acworth, will be attended by representatives of several colleges and universities and members of the Georgia Department of Education. The speakers will explain join enrollment, dual enrollment, and other programs that give eligible students a chance of earning college credit.
Speakers from the Georgia Student Finance Commission will also share information about 100 percent paid tuition options available for college-bound students.
