Cobb County Schools Makes Call on Outdoor After-School Activities
The decision will affect activities being held in Kennesaw on Wednesday and Thursday.
Cobb County Schools has cancelled all outdoor after-school activities on Wednesday and Thursday due to the bitter cold weather in the area.
According to the school district, the cancellation only affects outdoor practices and sporting events. Any such events that are held indoors or that can be relocated indoors can continue as normal.
Staff will monitor upcoming weather forecasts, and the school district will cancel outdoor after-school activities on Friday if conditions do not improve.
