Cobb Police Search for Robbery Suspect

The man is suspected of robbing two banks in the East Cobb area.

The Cobb County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in determining the identity of a man they suspect robbed two banks in June and July.

According to the department’s Facebook page, the man first struck at 4 p.m. on June 30 at the Fifth Third Bank on Sandy Plains Road. He struck again at 6:35 p.m. on July 22 at the Fifth Third Bank inside the Kroger on Roswell Road in Marietta.

Police describe the suspect as a white male aged 45 to 50, standing 5’3” to 5’5” tall. He was wearing a dark, short-sleeved shirt and khaki shorts. He was believed to be driving a small, silver four door vehicle.
