Cobb Police Seek Marietta Sexual Assault Suspect: News Near East Cobb
The assault occurred in a laundry room at an apartment complex in late January.

Cobb County police are looking for a man who allegedly fondled, attempted to disrobe, and punched a woman at a Marietta apartment complex earlier this year.
Police spokesman Dana Pierce said that the victim walked into the laundry facility of the Belle Chase apartments on Bellemeade Drive on the afternoon of Jan. 24 and encountered the suspect already inside. The suspect, who may have been smoking a marijuana cigarette, made verbal advances at the victim, who ignored them.
When the advances were ignored, the suspect fondled the victim and then tried to take her clothes off while forcing her into a corner of the laundry room. The woman was able to escape despite being struck in the face several times, Pierce said. She told police that she last saw the man running towards the Walmart parking lot.
