Creative Tritt Students Honored

The East Cobb elementary's PTA recently recognized winners of its "Reflections" contest in the visual, performing and literary arts.

students were challenged to "Unleash their artistic expression" through the annual PTA Reflections contest.

This program offered students the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition. They created and submitted works of art in one or more of six areas: literature, musical composition, photography, visual arts (which includes art forms such as drawing, painting, printmaking, and collage), dance choreography and film/video production. 

This year’s theme was “Diversity Means…” Winners of each category will have their piece submitted to the Georgia PTA to compete at the state level. Tritt winners for each grade level are:

Visual Arts
Kindergarten-Christina DeWeese; 1st-Maggie Fertig; 2nd-Joshua MacKay; 3rd-Gabrielle DeWeese; 4th-Chloe Princenthal; 5th-Sean Thornton.
