DICK'S Sporting Goods Coming to East Cobb
Legendary baseball player Dale Murphy will sign autographs during a weekend-long celebration for the new store's opening.
Athletes across East Cobb will soon have one more place to shop for their sporting needs.
According to Marietta.com, DICK’S Sporting Goods will open a brand-new location at East Cobb Crossing on Friday, March 13. There will be special events throughout opening weekend, including an autograph session with Braves legend Dale Murphy.
The doors open for the first time at 8 a.m. Friday, but anyone in line by 7:45 will be eligible to open the DICK’S Sporting Goods Gift Locker. According to Marietta.com, the first 100 people in the store will get the chance to win a Nike Play Dry shirt.

Dale Murphy will appear for autographs between noon and 2 p.m. on Saturday, but autograph sessions wristbands will only be given out on a first-come-first-served basis, Marietta.com says. Other weekend giveaways include gift cards from anywhere between $5 to $500 and more chances to open the gift locker.
