East Cobb Commissioner's Town Hall is Thursday

East Cobb’s representative on the Cobb County Board of Commissioners will be hosting a town hall meeting later this week which will discuss a transportation improvement project in the area.

District 3 Commissioner JoAnn Birrell will be at the East Cobb Senior Center on Feb. 19 at 6:30 p.m. to talk about the Georgia Department of Transportation’s Northwest Corridor Express Lanes project. The project looks to reduce traffic congestion on interstates 75 and 575 by constructing toll lanes alongside the main interstate from Akers Mill to Hickory Grove roads.
