East Cobb Condos Burn, Again

Nobody was injured in the blaze, firefighters said, but residents say this is not the first fire to occur on the property in recent years.

An East Cobb apartment complex suffered a fire over the weekend, one of many blazes at the site in recent years.

WSB-TV reports that The Willows condominium complex on Riverlook Parkway was stricken by fire on Saturday afternoon. Nobody was injured in the fire, but 16 units were rendered uninhabitable. CBS Atlanta reports fire investigators suspect the fire began on a second-floor balcony and spread across the building.

Residents told WSB-TV that fires at the complex have been a recurring problem over the past few years. This CNN IReport from Dec. 27, 2012, purports to show a different fire at the complex.
