East Cobb Home Burns to the Ground

Nobody was inside the home when the fire began Wednesday evening.

Cobb County firefighters responded to a fully involved house fire in East Cobb on Wednesday evening but were unable to save the structure.

Department spokesman Dan Dupree told Patch that a call was received regarding the home at 1363 Gray Rock Drive at 9:37 p.m. Wednesday. When firefighters arrived, the vacant home was fully involved and starting to collapse.

No injuries were reported, and investigators are now attempting to determine what caused the blaze, Dupree said.
