A 29-year-old man is behind bars at the Cobb County jail after police say he stabbed a man in his East Cobb home which was also housing a marijuana growing operation.

According to the Marietta Daily Journal, Cobb police say that Gabriel Emanuel Brazil stabbed another man three times on Christmas Eve inside Brazil’s home in the Barrington Mill Apartments located in the 1600 block of Bridge Mill Drive. The victim needed significant medical care to keep him alive, a warrant acquired by the MDJ says.

Once police began searching Brazil’s home, they came across evidence that the man was running a marijuana growing operation, the warrant reports. Officers seized two ounces of marijuana, a half dozen marijauna plants, baggies, scales, and other marijuana growing equipment, according to the warrant.
