🌱 East Cobb Restaurant Food Scores + NAP's Redevelopment Approved

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in East Cobb.

First, today's weather:

Heavy thunderstorms. High: 90 Low: 72.


Here are the top three stories in East Cobb today:

  1. The Cobb & Douglas Department of Public Health released the food scores for five East Cobb restaurants. All of the restaurants received grades of A. Bradley's Bar & Grill, Chick-Fil-A East Lake, and Dogwood Catering were among the five. (East Cobb News)
  2. The Cobb County Board of Commissioners gave unanimous approval to the North American Properties' (NAP) redevelopment plan of the Avenue East Cobb. A portion of the central building near Kale Me Crazy will be demolished to make room for an 8,000-square-foot area that will be surrounded by restaurants with patios. (REBusinessOnline)
  3. Chris Womack, the Chairman, President, and CEO of Georgia Power will speak to the Cobb Chamber on the "Future of the Energy Grid." Womack will make his presentation at the Chamber's Marquee Monday series on Jul. 11 at 8:00 a.m. The event will be held at the Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre in the Cumberland Community Improvement District.
