East Cobb Student Honored by Braves

Justin Menninger, a fifth-grade student at Shallowford Falls Elementary School, was honored recently during an Atlanta Braves baseball game for earning straight A’s during the 2010-2011 school year.

The Braves partner with Chick-Fil-A to reward students for academic excellence with the All-Star Student Achievers Program.

Students in grade K-12 who achieve straight A’s, Honor Roll, or perfect Attendance, received two tickets to a 2011 Braves game, a plaque, and a Chick-Fil-A coupon.
