The Empty Bowl Brunch is a unique charity event sponsored by the Mountain View Art Alliance. Brunch attendees pick from an array of beautifully hand crafted bowls and then they are filled with a delicious soup or chili meal. Bowls are created by pottery teachers, students and volunteers and donated to for sale during the Empty Bowl Brunch. Since 2002, the annual brunch has raised over $8,000 for local charities. The event is facilitated exclusively by volunteers creating bowls, serving food and beverages, selling tickets and assisting patrons.
