eVestment Kicks off Spring/Summer 2016 Corporate Fitness Challenge

Atlanta-based eVestment kicked off its Spring/Summer 2016 corporate fitness challenge Friday, March 18, with a variety of fitness events at the Cochran Shoals Chattahoochee National Park on Columns Drive in Marietta, Ga. About 50 Atlanta-based participants kicked off the three-month-long challenge by participating in a 1-mile, 5K or 10K run; pull-up and push-up contests; and logging starting metrics like weight, body fat composition and body mass index.

These twice-a-year eVestment fitness challenges include individual and group workouts; sessions on healthy eating and fitness habits; and company sponsored prizes at the finale. Teams participate from eVestment offices around the world. A total of about 125 eVestment employees around the world have signed up to take part in this most recent fitness challenge. Throughout the challenge, which ends May 25th, participants will log workouts and progress toward their fitness goals.

At the end of the challenge, prizes are awarded to teams and individuals that showed the most improvement on a variety of metrics, including run times, weight loss, percent body fat reduction and more, highlighting the fitness challenge’s focus on improvement.
