FBI Seeks Marietta, Villa Rica Bank Robber
Agents believe the robberies, committed on Aug. 14 and Aug. 19, were pulled off by the same man.

Special Agent in Charge (SAC) J. Britt Johnson, in conjunction with Chief Michael P. Mansour, Villa Rica Police Department, requests the public’s assistance with regard to today’s armed bank robbery at the United Community Bank, Villa Rica, Georgia. The suspect in this robbery is also believed to be responsible for the August 14, 2015 armed robbery of the BB&T branch in Marietta, Georgia.
On Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at approximately 12:23 p.m., a lone white male entered the United Community Bank, located at 485 West Bankhead Highway, Villa Rica, Georgia, and, while brandishing a handgun wrapped in cloth, announced a robbery.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber departed the bank without incident and was observed departing in a late 1990’s or early 2000 Ford Explorer Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), burgundy in color.
The robber was described as being a white male, late 40’s to early 50 in age, 5’7’-6’0” in height, thin build, weighing 150-170 lbs., and wearing a beige colored bandana that covered his lower face. He was observed wearing a camouflage boonie hat, dark pants, and a beige long sleeve button style shirt.

This robber is also a suspect in an August 14, 2015 armed robbery of the BB&T Bank, 741 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, Georgia. In that robbery, a lone white male entered the bank with a handgun wrapped in a grey shirt. After obtaining money from a teller register, the robber departed in a red vehicle.
