- Stockyard Burgers and Bones announced it closed its restaurant at The Avenue East Cobb. The restaurant's last day of business was on Friday. Their announcement read that they were not able to recover from the effects of the pandemic, continuous cost increases, and labor shortages at this location. (East Cobb News)
- One Medical opened its sixth metro Atlanta location in East Cobb at Merchant's Walk Shopping Center in the former Verizon space near Whole Foods. One Medical offers in-office visits and virtual healthcare through its mobile and web app. Other features also include lab services, mental and physical health check-ins, chronic illness management, wellness visits, and COVID-19 PCR testing. - The Cobb Zoning Office recommended denying plans to build a 16-home subdivision on a challenging 7.5-acre tract off Kinridge Court in Northeast Cobb. The Atlanta-based Green Community Development, LLC submitted an application to be heard Tuesday by the Cobb Planning Commission. Most of the parcels at Kinridge Court are undeveloped and on a sloping wooded area. (East Cobb News)
