First, today's weather:
A t-storm around in the p.m.. High: 87 Low: 73.
Here are the top three stories in East Cobb today:
- Five people were shot at the Forest Cove apartment complex off Thomasville Boulevard around 2:00 a.m. yesterday. According to Atlanta police, a large group of people gathered in front of the complex when other people showed up and started shooting. The victims range in age from 13 to 42; one teenager is in critical condition. (11 Alive)
- Additional charges of child sexual exploitation, child molestation, and sodomy were brought against William Wade Thomas, a Cobb County Jail inmate, last Friday. Thomas had been jailed in April for child molestation and enticing a child. 65-year-old Johnny Jay Farino was arrested last Wednesday after a search warrant produced child pornography on his electronic devices.
