Georgia Tech and Kennesaw State Face-Off for Lace Up with Lax
Two Local Favorites Compete in a Game That Means So Much More than Wins and Losses

Lace Up with Lax, in conjunction with Kennesaw State Men’s Lacrosse and Georgia Tech Men’s Lacrosse, will host a game on Friday, March 16 at 8 p.m. EST to raise awareness and support for homeless children; the game will be held at Pope High School in Marietta, GA.
Prior to the face-off between Kennesaw State and Georgia Tech will be a high school match-up at 6 p.m. featuring Buford High School and Pope High School, who is hosting the event in their annual Lace Up with Lax game. Fans attending the games are asked to bring a pair of new children’s shoes to donate to Lace Up with Lax, which in-turn will be given to a local shelter to distribute to homeless children.
“This game is about so much more than who wins,” said Lace Up founder Melissa Rose, “it is about assisting children in need who have no other means of protection and safety. Not only are these players out here to play, but they are also here to assist Lace Up and build their legacy both on and off the field.”
