High School Hoops Preview: Tuesday

Here is what to watch for at the East Cobb Patch on Tuesday:

Teams: vs. Lassiter

When: 6 p.m. girls; 7:30 p.m boys

Where: Lassiter High School

Girls Preview: Wheeler (9-12, 2-8) has won two Region 5-AAAAA games this season, one was over Lassiter on Jan. 31, by a score of 45-43. Lassiter (1-18, 0-8) isn’t going to climb out of the cellar with a win over the Wildcats, but it would like to avenge an earlier loss by two points and get into the regional win column on Tuesday.

Boys Preview: After an upset loss to Walton and a tough loss to the state’s best team at Milton, Wheeler (17-5, 9-1) has made quick work of three Region 5-AAAAA opponents. On Tuesday the Wildcats travel to Lassiter (9-10, 6-3) and will attempt to beat the Trojans again. Wheeler ousted the Trojans at home on Jan. 31 by the score of 70-56.
