🌱 Holland Botanical's Service Grows + Earthwise Pet Supply Closes

First, today's weather:

Here are the top three stories today in East Cobb:

  1. Holland Botanical has expanded to primarily home delivery. For nearly nine years, Janis Holland and her husband Jonathan have been delivering fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables to their customers in East Cobb, Roswell, and the Woodstock area in a weekend pop-up format. Now, they're expanding. The family's business charges $25 for a basket of produce that, for a typical family, will last a week. "We want to make it affordable to eat healthy," Holland said.   2. The Earthwise Pet Supply store, located in the Parkaire Landing location in East Cobb, will be closing its doors for good on Saturday. The store posted on social media that "the odds were against us in this market. Inflation has risen so high, we are unable to keep up with current market rent rates." (East Cobb News)
  3. The Lutheran Church of the Incarnation in East Cobb held its last worship service on Sunday. The congregation, which is also a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, also held a special Holy Closure service for members Sunday afternoon. The church opened in 1980. (East Cobb News)
