Horseback riding lessons for the special needs community

horseback riding lessons in east cobb for special needs community and typical riders.

Hand, Hoof and Heart has open lesson spots in both our therapeutic and typical riding program, located in East Cobb. Both programs are taught by a certified riding instructor with 4+ years experience teaching horseback riding to the special needs community and 6+ years experience teaching the neurotypical community. Our lessons are available for beginner to novice english riders.
Our therapeutic program serves ages 5 to 30+ and a wide range of diagnosis. Our riding instructor has worked specifically with the special needs community since 2012. She not only serves the community as a riding instructor, but also works privately with families as a community and home living support, vocational coach and fitness coach.
All of our lesson plans are designed to fit the individual needs of each rider. Our program can support and strengthen the following: fine and gross motor skills, core strength, balance, crossing the midline, spacial awareness, communication and social skills, eye contact, color/letter/number matching and identification, independence, confidence, responsibility and more!
Contact us today to set up a trial lesson and learn about our back to school specials.
