Host a Foreign Exchange Student Today ! An unbelievable experience for your Family and our Community

We are currently looking for families in this area to host a high school exchange student from another country for one or two semesters during the upcoming school year. In return, host families can learn about another culture, enjoy lifelong friendships with students, fulfill the dream of a young person, be an ambassador for America, have a great experience, and much more.

Host Families:
• Accept a student into their home as a “son or daughter” for one or two semesters
• Provide a bed and room (student can share a room with a host sibling of the same gender within 4 years age difference)
• Share 3 meals a day (if students choose to purchase school lunches it is their responsibility)
• Receive local and regional support 24/7 for any needs (we have a 24 hour emergency hotline)
• Claim a $50 per month deduction on their federal income taxes

Students:
• Are aged 15 to 18 (Grades 10-12)
• Well screened
• Speak English
• Have their own spending money
• Have full coverage health insurance

I live in a little village with my mother and my brother, in a house, and go to a close school. In my daily bases, I wake up at 8:00 a.m., go to school, come back home for lunch, do English and Math and the rest of the day studying. In my free time I like to do ice- skating and dance (I am making choreography to be played in a theater). I also enjoy practicing skiing from time to time. This Easter I am going to go skiing with my father. I would like to live in America with a family who has children, better if there is a girl like me and if it is possible having also pets. I like dogs, cats and rabbits a lot and I really enjoy taking care of them. I like all type of food, but my favorite is salmorejo, a typical South Spanish food. My hobbies are playing soccer, having family days, hanging out with friends, being with my pets, meeting new people, and traveling to different places because I like to meet different cultures. I would like to join the soccer team because it is my favorite sport and I have played it since I was 4 years old. I would like to learn snowboarding if there was snow in the city.
