Crushin’ for a Cause to take place Saturday, January 31st at Aviation Sports Complex in Marietta –

Gates Open at 12:30 pm, Amateur Derby to start at 1 pm and Celebrity Home Run Derby at 3 pm; Don’t Miss Out!

Food, Fun and Dingers All Day at the Third Annual Crushin’ for a Cause at Aviation Sports Complex in Marietta on Saturday, January 31st! Sports fans of all ages are invited to join the SagerStrong Foundation and The 6-4-3 Foundation for Crushin’ for a Cause – a baseball-themed festival-style afternoon of good food, family fun and games, baseball opportunities, music, silent auction and TWO home run derbies – a must for the baseball fan of all ages! The cornerstone of the day features the Celebrity Home Run Derby, hosted by 6-4-3 DP Baseball, KSU, and Sprayberry Alum and Braves prospect Tyler Tolve, starring players from the Braves, Giants, Reds, Athletics and Rays Organizations! Last year’s winner was baseball professional Cael Chatham of the Washington Wild Things.

New this year: the day will feature the best young talent from across the Atlanta Metro Area as well during the Prep Baseball GA Amateur HR Derby, prior to the professionals, beginning at 1 pm! Baseball Organizations including the East Cobb Astros, Team Elite, USA Scout, 6-4-3 DP Baseball, Georgia Jackets, and the Titans Baseball Academy and others will each have top young talent in 13U and 14U competing for the title – you don’t want to miss it!

Tickets are only $20 each in advance, or $60 for a family up to (5) people. In addition, the first 50 tickets purchased for kids will receive a FREE youth-sized T-shirt! All proceeds will benefit The 6-4-3 Foundation’s community scholarship and outreach initiatives, and the SagerStrong Foundation’s blood cancer research initiatives to support cancer patients and their families in their fight against blood cancer through The Craig Sager AML Research Fund at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.
