Kate has some story to tell. I hope you’ll listen!!!
Kate wants to tell you her story and let you know about the special reduced fee Black & Black/White Adoptions this month. This special is supported by Best Friends Animal Society.
I'll let Kate tell her story,
Hi, my name is Kate. As you can see I am black, so I am part of the Back in Black adoption special in May! This special is supported by Best Friends Animal Society.
Please consider adopting a black or black and white cat from Good Mews! Preferably, think about adopting me! I am a really nice girl. I love attention and will follow people around, meowing, until they bend down and pet me. So you are probably wondering why such a friendly and CUTE girl has not been adopted yet? Well, I have been diagnosed with small cell lymphoma in my lungs. So I guess people don’t want to deal with that. But currently I am doing just fine and am only on steroids. At some point in the future, I will probably need more medical care, but I just live for the moment. Right now I am doing well and I just want someone to love me. I am happy at the shelter, but I would be much happier in a home, with my very own person. When I start to get sick, I want someone to hold me and kiss me and tell me everything will be alright. So if you are thinking about adopting, please think of me. I promise I will make you as happy as you will make me.

Because I am part of the special, I have a reduced adoption fee of $50 and I go home with a goody-bag (if kitchen cat Kazi has not already tore them all up!)!
Adoptions are held at the Good Mews cage-free no-kill shelter each Saturday from 10am-4pm and the 2nd/3rd/4th Sunday of each month from 1pm-4pm.
