🌱 Kemp Fills Two Cobb Superior Court Seats + East Cobber's New Owner

Here are the top three stories today in East Cobb:
- Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp announced on Friday that he has filled two open seats on the Cobb Superior Court. Former Cobb District Attorney Vic Reynolds, the director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, will succeed Judge Tain Kell; Georgia Deputy Attorney General Julie Adams Jacobs will replace Judge Mary Staley Clark. Reynolds and Jacobs will fill the remainder of the terms of Kell and Staley Clark until the end of 2024. (East Cobb News)
- Founder and current publisher of EAST COBBER magazine Cynthia Rozzo announced on Friday that Laren Brown, the sales representative for the magazine, has been named the new owner and publisher. Rozzo is stepping down after a 29-year tenure. Brown said that she wants to bring the magazine to the next level and enhance what is already there. (East Cobb News)
