Kerley Family Homes Announces Appointment of New President

Kerley Family Homes is excited to announce the promotion of Andrew Hewett from General Manager to the role of President. Hewett has been with Kerley Family Homes for three years, and he previously worked with Gene Kerley from 2004 through 2009 at another building company.

Hewett earned his engineering degree from Kings College University London and has completed the Executive Project Management and Leadership program from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Before joining Kerley Family Homes, Hewett was a Project Manager with McBride & Son Homes in the Atlanta Division.

A longtime Georgia resident, Hewett maintains close relationships in the building industry and holds related certifications and licenses. He is a Certified RESNET Home Energy Rater, an EarthCraft Technical Assistant, LEED Green Rater and more. Hewett is also a member of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, Georgia Building Performance Association and Southface Energy Institute. He has been involved in research with the Department of Energy’s Building American program and led seminars on energy efficiency and sustainable building practices.

Hewett lives in Garden Hills with his wife, two teenage children and their dog. He enjoys boating on the lake, fishing, walking the dog and spending time at the beach.
