Loose Tire Causes I-75 Wreck
The driver which lost the tire called police the day after the wreck and was cited for traffic offenses.

A Cobb County woman is lucky to be alive after a tire which bounced off of a trailer caused her to crash into a median on Interstate 75.
The incident occurred near exit 263 and involved a dark-colored van towing a trailer which lost a tire on the highway. The tire hit one car then caused a Hummer to spin and hit a median, almost killing Elizabeth Janowiak. Janowiak told WSB-TV that she suffered some minor injuries as a result of the crash but is otherwise okay.
The van exited the interstate on Highway 120 and left the offending trailer at a nearby gas station, witnesses told WSB-TV. The driver contacted police the next day and said he was not aware the trailer’s tire had caused an accident. He had also exchanged his information with another driver, WSB-TV said.
