Man Arrested for Beating Dog at East Cobb Motel; Dog Missing
Leonardo Milton allegedly beat his pit bull mix Zeus because the dog snapped at his child.

A man is in custody in the Cobb County jail after police say he violently beat his dog for snapping at his son at an East Cobb motel on Tuesday.
WSB-TV reports that Leonardo Milton allegedly beat the pit bull mix named Zeus around the face, slammed it into a wall, hung it over a railing, and then dropped it. Zeus ran off into the woods near the Masters Inn on Windy Hill Road and has not been seen since. Witnesses said that Zeus looked to have a broken jaw and leg.
Cobb County Police and Cobb County Animal Control are searching for the injured dog.

Milton has been charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and giving a false name. He remains in custody on a $10,000 bond.
