🌱 Man Fires Bullets Into Buckhead Ulta Ceiling + Two Crashes On I-285

First, today's weather:
Partly sunny and hot. High: 94 Low: 67.
Here are the top three stories in East Cobb today:
- In nearby Marietta, police are searching for a hit-and-run suspect that injured 53-year-old Robert Morrison in front of his home and then fled the scene. The incident happened on Saturday evening at approximately 11:05 p.m. Morrison, who sustained serious injuries, was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
- A man fired a round of bullets into the ceiling of the Buckhead Loop Ulta, about 20 minutes away from East Cobb. At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, the suspect entered the store and demanded cash, according to Atlanta police. The robber then fled the store with an unspecified amount of money. (The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- Two crashes on I-285 in DeKalb County Monday morning shut down both the inner and outer loops for hours during the morning commute. The first was a deadly crash that closed the southbound lanes at Glenwood Road until about 9:00 a.m. The second incident involved a tractor-trailer that hit two unoccupied, abandoned vehicles due to a brake malfunction.
