Three Face Murder Charges After Body Discovered
Police believe the suspects lured their victim through a Craigslist ad.

UPDATE (5:00 p.m.): Marietta police suspect that a bogus Craigslist ad led to the Monday evening murder of a man whose body was discovered in a wrecked car in Marietta.
According to Marietta Police, 21-year-old James Jones, Jr. drove to the home at 345 Jamaica Cove looking to buy an iPhone 6 he had seen advertised on Craigslist. The trio that allegedly placed the ad, 18-year-old Jordan Baker, 19-year-old Jonathon Myles and 21-year-old Kaylnn Ruthenberg, laid in wait until Jones arrived then robbed him and shot him, police said.
Baker, Myles, and Ruthenberg have been arrested and charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and felony murder and are being held at the Cobb County jail.

ORIGINAL STORY (11:00 a.m.): Cobb County police are investigating the apparent murder of a man who was found dead inside his crashed car in Marietta on Monday night.
According to WSB-TV, a resident in the 300 block of Jamaica Cove called 911 at approximately 9:30 p.m. to report a car crash. Police arrived at 345 Jamaica Cove and discovered that the driver of the crashed car had been killed by gunfire.

Police are not releasing the victim’s name until his family is notified.
