A Marietta man was killed when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle which had failed to yield the right of way while turning into a driveway in Buckhead on Sunday, the Marietta Daily Journal reports.

Terrence Hwang, 24, was traveling south on Buford Highway on a motorcycle at the same time that Kendrick Hamilton of Bogart was heading north in a black 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe. Hamilton did not notice Hwang’s motorcycle traveling in the southbound lane when he pulled out to make a left turn into a driveway in the 2600 block of Buford Highway and failed to yield the right of way to Hwang, police told Patch on Monday.

Hwang attempted to brake but his motorcycle went up on its front wheel, police said, and hit Hamilton’s truck in the left southbound lane of Buford Highway. Hwang was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he died.

Fulton County Jail records indicate Hamilton has been charged with second-degree vehicular homicide and failure to yield the right of way when turning. Hamilton bonded out of jail on Tuesday, according to the records.
