Here are the top three stories today in East Cobb:
- Cobb Young Professional (CYP)'s Next Generation Mentoring Program is currently accepting applications. The program, which launched in 2014, is designed to develop the future leaders of Cobb County's business community. - East Cobb schools achieved some of the top scores in Georgia Milestones testing results for 2021-2022. According to data released by the state's Department of Education on Friday, 73.7 percent of students from East Cobb and other Cobb County schools read at or above grade level — the highest percentage in metro Atlanta. Cobb students across grade levels and subjects also achieved the highest average of "proficient" learners, compared to other nearby districts. (East Cobb News)
