New Robotics Team Accepting Applications

New community-based robotics team for High School aged students holding Information Meeting for prospective team members

There’s a new FIRST FRC community Robotics Team open to high-school age students in the East Cobb area. Private school, homeschoolers and students from area high schools wanting to explore this opportunity are invited to come to our Information Meeting.

WHERE: Mountain View Regional Library, 3320 Sandy Plains Rd, Marietta, GA 30066
WHEN: Saturday, July 25, 2015
TIME: 11:00 am

The East Cobb Robotics Team participates in FIRST FRC Robotics. FIRST is an internationally recognized organization that sponsors robotics competitions involving over 41,000 schools and community groups in 80 countries for students K-12.

Qualifications:

  • Boys and girls, age range of 14-18
  • desire to learn
  • mature attitude
  • strong sense of commitment
  • willingness and ability to work well within a team
  • healthy work ethic

Parental involvement is key to the success of the team and is expected and encouraged.
