Pedestrian Hit By Lincoln Town Car In Cobb: Police

The pedestrian was crossing the parkway, not in a crosswalk or at an intersection, when he was hit. He's in serious condition.

COBB COUNTY, GA — A Powder Springs man is in serious condition after being hit by a Lincoln Town Car Tuesday morning, according to a press release from the Cobb County Police Department. The collision happened around 4 a.m.

Robert Boldin, 26, was crossing Ernest Barrett Parkway, south of Stilesboro Road, when he was hit by the Town Car, driven by Michael Wilder, 51, of Dallas. Police noted that Boldin was not in a crosswalk and was not crossing at an intersection.

Wilder stopped after hitting Boldin, who had come to a rest in the northbound lanes of the parkway. He was transported to Grady Hospital with serious injuries.

Wilder wasn't injured in the accident, the press release said.

Police are still investigating the collision, and ask that anybody with information call the Cobb County Police Department's Selective Traffic Enforcement Program unit at 770-499-3987.
