Pedestrian Struck by Train Near Marietta Square
All roadways leading into the square that have railroad crossings have been closed by Marietta police.
One person has been sent to the hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a train near Marietta Square on Friday morning.
Marietta police said that all roads with railroad crossings which lead into Marietta Square (Waverly, Whitlock, Mill, Polk, and Kennesaw) have been shut down while the investigation into the collision continues. These roadways will re-open as soon as possible.
