Press Release: Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods Honored with A+ Rating from Better Business Bureau

BBB-Accredited, Award-winning Atlanta Home Builder Receives Highest Rating from Customer Service-Focused Nonprofit Organization

Atlanta, May 21, 2015 – Having been ranked among BUILDER Magazine’s national list of “Next 100” builders earlier this month, as well as having made the top 10 on Atlanta Business Chronicle’s list of Top 20 Home Builders in Atlanta for the past two years, Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods is becoming increasingly well-known for its dedication to quality. However, quality is only part of the Atlanta-based builder’s mission to providing an unsurpassed home buying experience. In addition to delivering thoughtfully planned, exquisitely executed townhomes and single-family homes throughout Metro Atlanta, the Acadia Homes’ team is committed to delivering top-notch service to its homebuyers. With just five years on the Atlanta housing scene, the residential builder recently shed its groundbreaking tagline of “A New Builder For A New Time” for the more updated “All About You.” This new slogan serves as an all-encompassing statement that speaks to Acadia’s floorplan designs, home building experiences and customer service – each one geared specifically to the homebuyer. The recent honor of an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) indicates that Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods is right on track in its goal of providing a consumer-focused home buying experience.

“We credit a great deal of our success to one of marketing’s earliest incarnations – word-of-mouth,” explains Sam Bass, Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods VP of Sales & Marketing. “When a homebuyer is truly delighted with their new home and the journey that began the moment they set foot inside one of our communities and ended at the closing table, they are bound to tell everyone who will listen. That is particularly the case in this day and age of social media and heightened connectivity. The same holds true for a real estate professional who appreciates the way he or she was treated by the builder and on-site agent, and that – ultimately – their client had a positive experience. They will not only continue to bring clients to our homes, but will also tell others within the tight-knit Atlanta real estate community. It’s not enough to simply provide a beautiful house – everything about the experience has to be the best you have to offer. By hosting regular meetings with the members of our sales team and the recent introduction of an innovative and interactive concept in home design with the opening of Acadia’s Design Gallery, we are continually seeking ways to improve upon an already terrific home buying experience.”

An A+ from the Better Business Bureau is the organization’s highest rating it can bestow on a company. To determine ratings, BBB looks to several factors, including: complaint history, type of business, time in business, transparent business practices, ability to honor BBB commitments – such as answering and resolving complaints, licensing and government actions known to BBB and advertising issues known to BBB. Each factor is tied to a scoring system, and a company that achieves a score of 97 or higher is granted an A+. For more than 100 years, Better Business Bureau has been helping people find businesses, brands and charities they can trust. In 2014, people turned to BBB more than 165 million times for BBB Business Reviews on more than 5.4 million businesses and Charity Reports on 11,000 charities, all available for free at bbb.org.
