Reminder: Walton Replacement Town Hall is Monday Evening

The Cobb County School District is inviting stakeholders in Walton High School to attend a town hall meeting discussing the replacement of the existing facilities.

The town hall meeting will be held at the high school’s theater on Oct. 20 at 7 p.m., the Cobb County School District announced on its website.

According to Walton High School’s website, the replacement project would rebuild old school buildings; add a multi-story academic building, theater, fine arts building, and almost 1,000 new parking spaces; remove all mobile classrooms; and pay for new communications equipment, musical instruments, and athletic equipment.

Walton High School is located at 1590 Bill Murdock Road.
