MDE School, for children with developmental disabilities and communication disorders, has a few spots remaining in their Summer Camp program. Camps begin June 2 and run through July 18 and take place at the school at 1517 Johnson Ferry Road in Marietta. Camps include "Step-It-Up", which is geared towards social skills, reading, writing and life skills, as well as "Cooking with Friends" where participants will learn about cooking healthy foods and have fun doing it, and "Gifted Hands", geared towards learning about tools, following directions, social skills, sequencing and building crafts.
