Teen Driving Course Coming to Pope High School

Registration for the combined classroom and practical course is now open and costs $249.

An East Cobb high school’s PTSA is offering a driver safety course geared towards helping teen drivers understand and react to the realities of the modern driving environment.

According to East Cobber Magazine, the next ”Accident Avoidance Workshop” will be held at Pope High School on Nov. 12 and Nov. 15 or 16. The Nov. 12 session runs from 6:25 to 9:45 p.m. and will focus on classroom instruction. Driving instruction will be held either on the 15th from 7:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., or on the 16th from 1:30 to 6 p.m.

Cost for the teen and one parent to participate in the session is $249. A second parent can join the session for an additional $40. Registration is available online.
