Teenager Socked With Can of Tomato Paste Inside East Cobb Restaurant: Police

The two woman suspected of carrying out the attack have been arrested, police said.

A pair of Cobb County women allegedly used a bizarre improvised weapon to attack a 16-year-old boy inside an East Cobb fast food restaurant earlier this month.

According to an arrest warrant obtained by the Marietta Daily Journal, Raven Mitchell and Rumer Rajeshri Cooke walked into the restaurant on Sandy Plains Road at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 7. They stood by the trash bins in the front of the store while they observed their victim briefly. Mitchell then allegedly approached him, asked him his name, and tasered him in the neck.

The warrant states that the taser attack incapacitated the young man, and he fell to the floor. Mitchell and Cooke then proceeded to beat the boy with a metal cane and a 6 oz. can of tomato paste which was stuffed inside a sock. The warrant adds that Mitchell brandished the weaponized sock at one of the restaurant’s managers.
