Temple Kol Emeth Welcomes New Youth And Family Director

Ezra Flom says he is 'impatient' to meet his new East Cobb community.

Temple Kol Emeth, a reform congregation in East Cobb County, announces the hiring of a new Youth and Family Director, Ezra Flom.

For more than ten years, Ezra Flom has crafted experiences for learners both young and old that ignite an excitement for life and Judaism. In that time, he uncovered the mysteries of gardens with preschoolers; led Negev hikes for retirees; taught in Jewish Day Schools; ignited a love for learning during Hebrew School; taught university courses in service learning, rock climbing, social media, and marketing; and facilitated youth engagement across the spectrum.

He earned a master’s degree in Education at American Jewish University, a California Teaching Credential from Hebrew Union College, as well as a BA in Rabbinic Literature, and a BA in Spanish Culture and Literature

Ezra states, “I am very excited to join the TKE family. I have already been very warmly welcomed by staff, volunteers, and the youth and parents from the two retreats I staffed. I find myself impatient to meet the rest of the wonderful community.”
