🌱 Trash Taxi Now Serving Parts Of East Cobb + ARPA Grant Funding

Here are the top three stories today in East Cobb:

  1. The Cobb County Government is accepting applications for organizations and individuals seeking grant funding under the American Rescue Plan Act. $147 million in COVID-19 stimulus funding has been earmarked for Cobb. Cobb commissioners approved funding for community health, support services, economic development, county infrastructure, and public safety areas. (East Cobb News)
  2. Trash Taxi has started serving the East Cobb area. Christi Rhyne of Trash Taxi said that weekly trash and recycling services are now open to residents and businesses in zip codes 30062 and 30066. Trash Taxi has been serving Cherokee, Paulding, and Bartow counties for the last 18 years. (East Cobb News)
  3. Cobb Commission Chairwoman Lisa Cupid will deliver a State of the County address at the Cobb Chamber of Commerce's Marquee Monday breakfast on Jun. 13. The event will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre at The Battery Atlanta. Previously the address from the head of county government had been delivered exclusively to the Chamber audience, but this year Cupid added a separate event for the larger public. (East Cobb News)
