Here are the top three stories today in East Cobb:

  1. North American Properties, the developer of the Atlantic Station's transformation and Colony Square's $400 million renovation, is partnering with PGIM Real Estate to make Avenue East Cobb (AEC) more trendy. NAP said that its goal is to craft an Avalon-style experience that engages and impresses guests "through an infusion of five-star hospitality and experiential programming." (Urbanize Atlanta)
  2. Three 14-year-old boys were charged with third-degree arson for allegedly setting fire to the Chimney Lakes subdivision gazebo in East Cobb. Chief investigator Brian Beaty stated that delinquency complaints were filed with the Juvenile Court on Wednesday. The fire was set on Jul. 7 and preliminary findings indicate the teens set the fire deliberately. (East Cobb News)
