  1. The Cobb County 2040 Comprehensive Plan 5-Year updated draft will be posted on Tuesday. The posting by Cobb County is for a mandatory public comment period. The period ends on Jul. 26. Click the following link for a timeline of the planning process. (Cobb County Courier)
  2. The body of a 46-year-old woman was pulled from a Cobb County lake on Sunday morning. It is unclear how she may have died but initial investigations point to drowning. The Cobb County Medical Examiner's Office is in possession of the body and will determine the cause of death. (WSBTV)
