I can step into the position and immediately go to work representing you, I will not have to rely on other Commissioner for assistance and I will not be swayed or manipulated by the other Commissioners as a less experienced person may be.
Being retired I also have the time to spend for the multiple meetings that are required. The position of District Commissioner is classified as a part-time job, but in reality it is really a full time job. Where as my opponent may not be able to devote the hours needed to effectively represent the citizens of the district.
